Marc and I found a secluded beach inlet and stepped out of the truck to admire the view. Within minutes, we found ourselves surrounded by the strangest-looking birds we had ever seen.
Marc did some research on the net and learned they are called Woodstorks. Although not the cutest things, we found them quite endearing as they followed us around, keeping a safe two to three feet away but never letting us out of their sight. An interesting fact is they have no pharynx and are mute.
