Our First Destination...Bonita Springs, Florida

Welcome back to Juanita's Journey!  Many of you followed us throughout our last journey to Winter Haven, Florida, Robertsdale, Alabama, New Orleans and Eunice, Louisiana.  It was a blast!  This year, we promise to share even more stories and adventures with you, our readers.  We will first head to
southwest Florida for 6 weeks, drive home to Canada for a week at Christmas, then head south/southwest to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas (in that order!).  So grab your cowboy boots, saddle up your horse, then sit back and enjoy the ride!

Our first "home" will be in Bonita Springs, Florida,  including a three-day jaunt to the Keys.  The RV park, Bonita Lake RV Resort, is located on Hickory Bay, a barrier island situated between Estero Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.  The City of Bonita Springs is nestled between Naples and Fort Myers, Florida.  While in Florida, we also hope to spend time on Sanibel Island, known worldwide for its excellent shelling.  Of course, we will definitely make time to visit the Everglades and South Beach.
