Due to recent inclement weather (mostly strong winds) courtesy of tropical storm Sandy, we have not yet spent much time enjoying KOA park amenities. So far, we have spent
one afternoon in the huge, heated pool which, we are told, will be covered by a dome during December and January but will still be open for swimming.
We have, of course, been taking daily "health walks" around the park. We prefer to do this after dark, as it is cooler and offers peace and quiet as well as privacy.
We are told there is an activities director who plans all types of interesting activities for the campers, but these begin once most snowbirds have arrived at the park, most likely sometime in November. We will report more as we go, so remember to check in often!

Don't hurt yourself playing in the pool, it makes me jealous since we only play with rain and wind, only for another 3 days then the hell with this weather
