Yes, today is the day we pack up our belongings and head to Navarre. Yippee! Not to mislead you, we enjoyed our time here in Milton, but it is just too far from the ocean for our taste. Must be why
the desert didn't quite appeal to us as a long-term destination either.
Funny thing happened yesterday. Marc walked over to the office to make sure everything was in order prior to our departure today. The office staff said yes, they had all our paperwork in order, i.e. our meter had been read, but wondered why we hadn't left yesterday by noon. Marc corrected them and explained that we were actually set to leave today. Well, to our shame, it turns out we had made a mistake and stayed one day longer than what we had paid for! But in true KOA client-oriented fashion, the staff pro-rated our rate and charged us a measly $12 for the extra day.
So I must close for now as we need to secure dishes and cabinets, then pack up Peanut and head south!
