REVIEW OF: SANTA ROSA RV RESORT - NAVARRE, FLORIDA
This park is new to the Navarre area. It is a lovely park, located right on the Gulf of Mexico, in the City of Navarre, Florida. There are slightly more than 80 full-service sites, a huge pool (not heated!), an excellent workout room with picture windows overlooking the ocean. Those are the positives. As for the negatives, there are two biggies. The first is the complete lack of WiFi connection, contrary to what is advertized. The connection is not even intermittent; it is totally non-existent. The second negative is Management. When approached with the complaint about poor internet connection, we were told by the Manager, Jinx, that it costs $150 every time they call in a technician, and they had already had to do so a couple of times in the last two weeks. When I reminded her that we paid for our full month's stay in good faith, she said if we were unhappy, she would certainly refund our money (minus the three-day stay, of course.) Hmmm, although we have never been employed as RV park managers, it seems to us that a comment along the lines of "We will look into the problem and get right back to you" would have gone a long way.
In conclusion, we recommend you stay as far away from this park as possible, unless you don't mind forking out money for goods you will not receive! RATING (1 to 5...1 being the lowest): 2
