Old Town

We were definitely caught in a time warp!  On Wednesday, Marc and I spent the evening in Old Town, Kissimmee, Florida.  And Old Town is certainly aptly named:  It is a small town (approx. 5 square blocks) in which
the clock has been turned back to the 1950s and 1960s.  And Wednesday night is Cruise Night.

We were fortunate enough to spot classics such as a 1957 Chev, a 1969 Mustang, a 1958 Belair, a 1965 Impala and even a 1939 Chevy Coup, all in mint condition.

If classic cars are not your thing, you can always show off your moves while dancing to "I Found My Thrill On Blueberry Hill."  And for those braver souls, there are a number of heart-stopping rides to enjoy.

Overall, we spent a very enjoyable few hours in Old Town and would recommend it to anyone looking for good clean fun!

  1. We took the kids to Old Town when we were there a few years back. I especially remember the reverse bungee jump ride! Too wild for us! cheers,
