History of the Po-Boy Sandwich...

One cannot visit Louisiana without taking the time to enjoy a Po-Boy Sandwich.  Our personal favourite is
the Pulled Pork Po-Boy (of course, the Shrimp Po-Boy comes in a close second!).  You might say it closely resembles a sub, but bite your tongue;  it does not even compare!  As to its name, Oprah once explained:  Back in the day, you were either "poor," or you were "po."  If you were "po," you were truly poorer-than-poor.
