Marc's Idea of Heaven...

Today, we visited a site where old cars are bought, sold and restored. Nothing fancy about this place with its office a battered, old mobile home and
not a vendor in sight. The old cars are scattered near the base of a huge mountain at the southwest end of Quartzsite.

We walked around at our leisure, admiring and reminiscing about old cars owned by our parents and grandparents. The cars range in years from the 1930s to the 1980s and are definitely worth a look. Of course, in this part of the world, cars can remain in good shape for much longer than ours do in the north, so they are certainly easier to restore or maintain.

So if you are an old car enthusiast and are looking to buy a vintage or antique car, or are planning an Elvis revival, Quartzsite is definitely where you should start your search.
