It seems, this trip, things are bound to go wrong. We decided, a couple days ago, to skip the drive to Massachussetts as it was quite a bit further and, with the cost of
the extra fuel, four days at a KOA park, a four-day car rental, plus the cost of the oil pan lining, we were not ahead. We have decided to have the job done in Ottawa.
So we paid for four more nights here at the lovely Western Village in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Our RV converter-inverter, which had been acting up since our stay at Grenville Park last summer ( with their wonky electrical panel ) decided to pick yesterday to give up the ghost. The carbon monoxide alarm started to ring at regular three-minute intervals, terrifying poor Peanut and totally draining our RV batteries. So Marc managed to find a replacement inverter 40 minutes from here for $400 and will install it himself. Are we having fun yet?!!
