Loving Our New Home...!

Due to recent (today!) technical difficulties, you will notice my last post has disappeared.  I am still a newbie where blogs are concerned and mistakenly erased the post.  I wish I could blame this one on Marc but, alas, I must own up to it.

To the right of this post, you will see pictures of our new temporary

home in Winter Haven, Florida.  My post about nasty stickers may have given you the impression that Cypress RV Park is less than ideal and not well maintained.  Au contraire, it is very well maintained, as witnessed by the pics.  The stickers are a tiny "weed-like" plant found just about everywhere.  The only neglect on the part of the park owners is in not using weed control.  Now that we are aware of these nasties, we are careful not to track any into the RV and regularly check Peanut out and remove any found from his coat. 

As to RV park management, the staff are wonderful.  You can never just stop in at the office for a "quick question" without getting caught up in a 15-minute chat.  There are numerous recreational activities in and around the park to keep us busy.  You can even rent your very own golf cart for $5 a day!  Out of propane?  Just ask and staff will refill your tank. 

So for anyone worrying about us, please rest assured......We are very comfortable in our 35-degree city of Winter Haven, Florida!
