Paradise!

As promised in a previous post, we will now share the goods on our new home base:  Emerald Beach RV Park.  What a little gem!  It is not a large park by RV park standards, but it definitely packs a punch and wins the prize for location and overall appearance.  There are
76 sites, all with full hookup, including phone and cable.  And each site has its very own palm tree!  Our RV sits on a concrete slab, is surrounded by (sticker-free) grass and comes with an attached gravel parking spot.  Because the sites are on the diagonal, each rig is afforded much-appreciated privacy.  Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m..

This morning, we were up at 6:00 and had to keep Sir Nut as quiet as possible while he did his business.  Afterwards, we took a stroll to the beach (literally 30 steps from our RV!).  What a sight!  The sand is so clean and looks just like talcum powder.

Our plans for the day included spending time at the beach, but had a few errands to run first.  By the time we returned to the park, the weather had changed and it started to rain.  So we never had a chance to dip our toes in the ocean.  No worries, there's sure to be sunny weather over the next 5 weeks!
