Lake Havasu City...A Real Gem!

That is how we would describe Lake Havasu City.  A short, scenic 90-minute drive north
from Quartzsite will take you to Lake Havasu, an oasis in the Sonoran Desert.   Mountains surround the small city, with Lake Havasu at its center.

Havasu City's claim to fame is the (original) London Bridge, which was relocated from England in 1971. It is difficult to fathom the time and work it must have taken to accomplish such a feat.

If you wish to do some camping or RV-ing while in Lake Havasu, there are several commercial and state parks to choose from. Or why not just spend a leisurely afternoon enjoying the beauty of this quaint city.
