Why Can't We See?!...

We spent but a few short days in Las Cruces, New Mexico and during that time got to experience one of their wonderful sandstorms.  We thought we were back in Canada, in the middle of
a snowstorm!  Driving down the interstate, the visibility was practically zero. 

Now, as we all know, when you are in the middle of a snowstorm and you keep your mouth closed, the snow does not get into your mouth, right?  Well, try that in a sandstorm!  You can squeeze your lips together all you want...you will still end up crunching on sand afterwards! 

Just sayin'...  :D
